Motor Cruising Courses
Helmsman Practical Course

Practical courses run every month, and dates can be arranged on-demand and often at short notice.

This two-day course covers basic boat handling helmsmanship safety and basic engine maintenance.

The course is ideal for the new owner who is conscious of the difficulty and potential hazards of boat handling in the marina.

Duration: Minimum 2 days
Pre-Course experience :

None required, but some practical experience is desirable.
Assumed Knowledge: None
Course content:

Safety, helmsmanship, boat handling and introduction to engine maintainance.
Ability after course

Competent to handle motor cruiser of specific type in sheltered waters.
