The Royal Yachting Association is the governing body for powerboating in the UK, and SeaSkills is pleased to be accredited as a RYA Training Centre.
RNLI
The RNLI saves lives at sea. Most of the SeaSkills instructors are either current or retired lifeboat crew.

Kerrera Sea Adventures is the “other side” of SeaSkills in Oban. Owned and run by Roddy MacEachen, Chief Instructor of SeaSkills (Oban), KSA takes passengers on exhilarating powerboat rides around the island of Kerrera and the local area from Oban.
Sea Survival site Sea Survival courses
Sea Survival courses for SeaSkills are run by Jon Clift, a Yachtsmaster Instructor for almost 30 years and an ex. RNLI lifeboat helmsman.
Dive Safari Scotland Dive Safari Scotland
Dive Safari Scotland is run by Gary Lawson, an experienced and qualified PADI Instructor on his boat “Pegasus” - a 6.5m Ribcraft with a 150hp Mariner outboard. It is fully equipped with electronics and safety equipment including oxygen. It carries MCA certification and is licensed to carry 10 divers up to 20 miles off-shore or 12 divers within a 3 mile radius of a nominated port of departure.
