Chris trained as a teacher in Outdoor Education and runs Seaskills Ardfern, he worked for a good number of years within residential Outdoor Education, including Management Training and Development. 

Having qualified as a powerboat trainer and Dinghy Coach assessor at the start of the ‘90’s, means he has a great deal of experience within both sectors, and manages to bring this together when teaching safetyboat skills.

Chris enjoys coaching small groups, and passing these skills on to potential instructors.

Having lived close to the Sound of Jura for over 20 years, his knowledge of cruising in these areas, allows him to develop your personal skills within this lively tidal environment up to advanced Instructor level.

Having been connected to the Outdoor Education sector for many years, Chris has developed powerboat fleets and systems for several commercial providers.
