Auchinstarry

Our Inland Waterways base is at Auchinstarry basin to the south of Kilsyth on one of the most scenic stretches of the Forth and Clyde canal.

Auchinstarry can be easily reached by both road and public transport. The basin is a 15 minute stroll from Croy railway station with direct trains every 30 minutes to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Falkirk High and regular local bus services.

The basin was officially opened in September 2005 and the Boathouse restaurant/pub in the marina can offer overnight accomodation if required.
